Boiler Care

Winter is now here and you can hear the groans of neighbors as the frost sends their boiler into bye bye land. Can they get a plumber to come and rescue them, well it is the middle of winter and the plumbers are busy fixing the boilers of people who did not plan ahead.

Plan ahead and get a team of plumbers on standby for 24 hours per day ready to come at a moments notice, 365 days a year, to fix my boiler - don't be silly it will cost a fortune.

Well it will not actually. British Gas have a number of boiler care plans and central heating plans which can help for a small monthly fee.

Have I got one of these - you bet I have. It is winter and I have the time to sit here in a relaxed manner and write this post. No anxiously looking in the phone book to find an expensive plumber for me - I'm covered and British Gas and its plumbers care for me.

Dyno Rod plumbing, drains and locksmiths

I have found a new site with good content covering home emergencies.

We all have occassions when we need to quickly call out a plumber, have drains blockages or just need a locksmith to let us into our home!

The Dyno Rod home mainteance site has a full overview of Dyno Rod services and I recommend you bookmark the site for those hoem emergency moments when a trustworthy tradesman is required.

There is a full overview of the services and emergency telephone numbers. Don't search the yellow pages for a drains contractor when you have clogged drains or need aplumber for a leaking tap.

Local is the new black

Local sites will be the next growth area on the Internet.

Who wants to use google and get 212 million pages returned for a search when 30% of them will be spam and worthless.

Local sites with inbuilt local search can add quality back to the web and enable it to serve a valuable function again.

An example of what I mean is a new site set up focusing on Walton on Thames which only focuses on local news, events and local traders.

Go see.

Unique word for tracking

One question frequently thought with a blogger account is - has it been indexed

A second question is - has it remained in the search engine index

This page is to help me in answering these questions.

A unique word will help for my searches - jigglypuffpeople will do. There are currently no internet pages with this word on.

Good luck to me.
