Local is the new black

Local sites will be the next growth area on the Internet.

Who wants to use google and get 212 million pages returned for a search when 30% of them will be spam and worthless.

Local sites with inbuilt local search can add quality back to the web and enable it to serve a valuable function again.

An example of what I mean is a new site set up focusing on Walton on Thames which only focuses on local news, events and local traders.
